How To Use of Oxcarbazepine 450 Mg Tablet

Oxcarbazepine is converted to its active metabolite, 10-monohydroxy derivative (MHD), which blocks voltage-sensitive sodium channels in neurons. This stabilizes hyperexcited neuronal membranes, suppresses repetitive neuronal firing, and limits the spread of abnormal electrical impulses responsible for seizures. It may also influence calcium and potassium channels, contributing to its anticonvulsant effect.
