Management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control. Reduction of postprandial (post-meal) blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes. Use as monotherapy when diet and exercise alone are insufficient to control blood glucose.
How To Use of Acarbose 25 Mg Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet is to be taken with food.

Gastrointestinal discomfort. Flatulence.
Contraindications of Acarbose 25 Mg Tablet
Hypersensitivity (allergy) to Acarbose or any of the tablet's ingredients. Inflammatory bowel disease, such as ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease. Partial intestinal obstruction or patients predisposed to intestinal obstruction. Chronic intestinal diseases associated with significant digestive or absorption disorders.

Alcohol: CAUTION <p> Caution is advised when consuming alcohol with ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet. Please consult your doctor. Pregnancy: CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor. Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. Driving : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR <p> It is not known whether ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. Kidney : CAUTION <p> ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of AC 25mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Liver: CAUTION <p> ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of ACARBOSE 25 MG Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
