Bisoprolol 2.5mg is used alone or together with other medicines to treat high blood pressure (hypertension).

Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing. Keep out of the reach of children.

Diarrhea Headache Respiratory: Rhinitis (2.9% to 4% ), Upper respiratory infection (4.8% to 5% .) Other: Fatigue

Patient should avoid activities requiring mental alertness or coordination until drug effects are realized. This drug may cause bradyarrhythmia, cold extremities, hypotension, dyspepsia, dizziness, headache, dyssomnia, upper respiratory infection, or fatigue. Drug may mask symptoms of hypoglycemia. Advise diabetic patients to carefully monitor blood sugar levels. Advise patient against sudden discontinuation of drug. Instruct patient to take a missed dose as soon as possible but if next dose is in less than 8 h, skip the missed dose.
