It can help relieve pain in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. But, this pain-relieving action may damage the inner lining of the stomach. Therefore, this medicine also has an active ingredient called Rabeprazole, which reduces the acid secretion in our stomach, thereby reducing the damage caused by the painkillers.
How To Use of Aceclofenac 200 Mg Sr + Rabeprazole 20 Mg Capsule
The usual dosage is typically one tablet taken orally once or twice daily, preferably with food. The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water and should not be chewed, crushed, or broken. Patients with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding disorders, kidney impairment, liver dysfunction, or cardiovascular disease should use aceclofenac with caution. 200 MG Tablet SR is not recommended for use during pregnancy especially in the third trimester (last 3 months) 200 MG Tablet SR may cause sleepiness, blurred vision, or dizziness in some cases. Avoid driving vehicles or operating heavy machines if you experience such symptoms after taking this medicine. Monitor liver function tests periodically in patients receiving long-term treatment with Aceclofenac-containing medications. Avoid concurrent use of alcohol and other NSAIDs, as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and other adverse effects.

Aceclofenac works by inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX), which is responsible for the synthesis of prostaglandins involved in inflammation, pain, and fever. By inhibiting COX, aceclofenac reduces the production of prostaglandins, leading to decreased inflammation and pain relief.
