Moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (eczema) Maintenance therapy to reduce eczema flare-ups Patients who cannot tolerate or have an inadequate response to topical corticosteroids
How To Use of Dercrol Ointment Cream
Use only as directed by a registered medical practitioner. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin twice daily or as prescribed. Rub in gently until absorbed. Wash hands before and after application unless treating the hands.

Tacrolimus is a calcineurin inhibitor that binds to intracellular immunophilins and inhibits calcineurin activity. This suppresses T-cell activation and reduces the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines, thereby decreasing skin inflammation, itching, and redness associated with atopic dermatitis.
