GLYCAZIDE M 30/500 Tab is a combination medicine used for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, particularly in patients whose blood sugar levels are not adequately controlled with metformin alone. It helps improve both fasting and post-meal blood glucose levels by increasing insulin secretion from the pancreas and improving the body's sensitivity to insulin. This combination may be recommended for patients who require dual therapy to achieve better glycemic control, especially when lifestyle modifications and single-drug treatment are insufficient.
How To Use of Gliclazide(sr) 30 Mg + Metformin Hydrochloride(sr) 500 Mg
Take the tablet as prescribed by the physician. Usually taken once or twice daily with meals. Swallow the tablet with water. Follow dietary recommendations and regular physical activity for better diabetes control.

This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy as there is positive evidence of fetal risk Watch for symptoms of low blood sugar, such as sweating, dizziness, or confusion. Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, heart disease, or kidney problems. Avoid Alcohol consumption as it may increase the risk of side effects. Regular monitoring of liver function and kidney function may be required.
