Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. Patients inadequately controlled with diet, exercise, or dual oral antidiabetic therapy. To improve glycemic control as part of a comprehensive diabetes management plan.
How To Use of Glimepiride 2 Mg + Sitagliptin 50 Mg + Metformin Hydrochloride 1000 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your physician. Usually taken once or twice daily with meals, depending on the prescribed regimen. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Take with food to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Do not skip meals while taking this medicine to minimize the risk of hypoglycemia. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for the next dose. Do not double the dose.

Glimepiride: Stimulates insulin secretion by binding to sulfonylurea receptors (SUR1) on pancreatic beta cells, increasing endogenous insulin release. Sitagliptin: Inhibits the DPP-4 enzyme, increasing endogenous GLP-1 and GIP levels, thereby enhancing glucose-dependent insulin secretion and suppressing glucagon secretion. Metformin Hydrochloride: Decreases hepatic glucose production, reduces intestinal glucose absorption, and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity without increasing insulin secretion.
