How To Use of Mycophenolate Mofetil 250 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your physician. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet unless advised. Take it consistently at the same time each day. It may be taken with or without food, but take it in the same manner every day. Avoid missed doses; if a dose is missed, follow your doctor's instructions. Mechanism of Mycophenolate Mofetil 250 Mg Tablet
Mycophenolate Mofetil is converted in the body to mycophenolic acid (MPA), which inhibits the enzyme inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH). This blocks the synthesis of guanosine nucleotides required for DNA production in activated T and B lymphocytes. As a result, immune cell proliferation is reduced, leading to decreased immune-mediated tissue damage and prevention of transplant rejection.
