Mechanism of Nebivolol Hydrochloride 5 Mg + Telmisartan 40 Mg Tablet
Nebivolol Hydrochloride: Selectively blocks beta-1 adrenergic receptors, reducing heart rate, myocardial contractility, and cardiac output. It also promotes nitric oxide-mediated vasodilation, improving endothelial function. Telmisartan: Selectively blocks angiotensin II type 1 (AT1) receptors, preventing vasoconstriction and reducing aldosterone secretion. This results in relaxation of blood vessels, decreased blood pressure, and protection of the heart and kidneys.
