Indication of Repaglinide 0.5 Mg Tablet
Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in adults. Control of post-meal (postprandial) blood glucose levels. May be used alone or in combination with metformin when additional glycemic control is required.
How To Use of Repaglinide 0.5 Mg Tablet
Take orally within 30 minutes before each main meal. Swallow the tablet with water. Skip the dose if you skip a meal. Follow the dosage prescribed by your healthcare provider. Regular monitoring of blood glucose is recommended.

Mechanism of Repaglinide 0.5 Mg Tablet
Repaglinide stimulates insulin release from functional pancreatic beta cells by closing ATP-sensitive potassium (KATP) channels. This causes membrane depolarization, opening of calcium channels, increased calcium influx, and rapid insulin secretion, thereby reducing blood glucose levels, particularly after meals.
