Mechanism of Sacubitril 97 Mg + Valsartan 103 Mg Tablet
Sacubitril 97 mg + Valsartan 103 mg Tablet combines two complementary mechanisms to improve heart function in patients with chronic heart failure. Sacubitril inhibits the enzyme neprilysin, increasing the levels of beneficial natriuretic peptides. This promotes vasodilation, enhances sodium and water excretion (natriuresis and diuresis), and reduces cardiac remodeling. Valsartan blocks angiotensin II type-1 (AT1) receptors, preventing vasoconstriction and aldosterone release, thereby lowering blood pressure, reducing fluid retention, and decreasing the workload on the heart. Together, these actions improve cardiac output and reduce the risk of heart failure progression.
