How To Use of Sitagliptin 100 Mg + Metformin Hydrochloride (sr) 1000 Mg + Pioglitazone Hydrochloride 15 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your physician. Swallow whole with water; do not crush, chew, or break the sustained-release tablet. Preferably take with meals to reduce gastrointestinal side effects. Take at the same time each day.

You have Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus or diabetic ketoacidosis. You have severe renal impairment. You have acute or chronic metabolic acidosis, including lactic acidosis. You have hypersensitivity to sitagliptin, metformin, pioglitazone, or any ingredient in the formulation.

Take with food to reduce stomach upset. Monitor blood glucose and HbA1c regularly. Kidney and liver function should be assessed before and during treatment. Watch for symptoms of hypoglycemia, especially if taking other antidiabetic medicines.

Sitagliptin: Inhibits the DPP-4 enzyme, increasing endogenous incretin hormones (GLP-1 and GIP), thereby enhancing glucose-dependent insulin secretion and reducing glucagon release. Metformin SR: Reduces hepatic glucose production, decreases intestinal glucose absorption, and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity without stimulating insulin secretion. Pioglitazone: Activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPAR-γ), improving insulin sensitivity in skeletal muscle, adipose tissue, and the liver while reducing insulin resistance.
