This Paracetamol 125mg suspension medication is commonly used for the relief of fever and mild to moderate pain in children. It may be prescribed for: Fever due to infections, vaccination, or common illnesses Headache, Toothache, Ear pain, Sore throat, Body aches, Post-immunization fever.

Use as directed by the physician. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the dose using a proper measuring device or dropper. Dose is based on the child’s body weight (usually 10–15 mg/kg per dose every 4–6 hours, if prescribed). Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Can be given with food.

Store below 25–30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed.

Advise patient it is unsafe to take more than 4000 mg of paracetamol syrup in a 24-hour period Side effects may include gastrointestinal hemorrhage, hepatotoxicity, or nephrotoxicity. Patient should not drink alcohol while taking this drug. Advise patients who drink more than 3 alcoholic drinks a day to consult a healthcare professional prior to taking acetaminophen. Consult a doctor if fever persists for more than 3 days or pain lasts more than 5 days. Avoid giving other medicines that contain paracetamol simultaneously.
