Introduction :

This combination of AMLODIPINE 5 MG + ATENOLOL 25 MG tablet is commonly prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It is used to help lower blood pressure levels and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke in individuals with hypertension. Amlodipine 5mg is a type of medicine known as a calcium channel blocker (CCB). It is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and a type of chest pain called angina. It can be used by itself or with other medicines to treat these conditions Atenolol is primarily prescribed for the treatment of hypertension. It may also be used for the management of angina (chest pain) and to prevent heart attacks.

Indication :

This Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina. This is a combination of two medicines that controls blood pressure when a single medication is not effective. It helps to lower high blood pressure and thus reduces the chances of future heart attack and stroke.

Administration :

Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time each day. Keep taking it for as long as advised by your doctor.

Storage :

Store Tablets at room temperature (between 59? and 86?F). Keep out of the light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep in a dry place.

Side Effects :

Contraindications :

It is unsafe to consume alcohol with this medicine Dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting may also occur if you exercise or if the weather is hot. Heavy sweating can cause loss of too much water and result in low blood pressure. Use extra care during exercise or hot weather. Check with your doctor right away if you or your child have pain or tenderness in the upper stomach, pale stools, dark urine, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, or yellow eyes or skin. These could be symptoms of a serious liver problem. If you have been using this medicine regularly for several weeks, do not suddenly stop using it. Stopping suddenly may cause your chest pain or high blood pressure to come back or get worse.
