Introduction :

Glimepiride 1mg Metformin Hydrochloride 1000mg is a combination medication used to Treat high blood sugar levels in Two types of diabetes patients. It is a prescription medication that combines two active ingredients: Glimepiride and Metformin Hydrochloride. The combination of Glimepiride 1 mg and Metformin Hydrochloride 1000 mg in a prolonged-release (PR) or extended-release (ER) formulation is commonly used in the management of type 2 diabetes. Many people can control type 2 diabetes with diet and exercise. Following a specially planned diet and exercise will always be important when you have diabetes, even when you are taking medicines. To work properly, the amount of metformin and glimrpiride you take must be balanced against the amount and type of food you eat and the amount of exercise you do. If you change your diet or exercise, you will want to test your blood sugar to find out if it is too low. Your doctor will teach you what to do if this happens. You may notice improvement in your blood glucose control in 1 to 2 weeks, but the full effect of blood glucose control may take up to 2 to 3 months. Indication :

This combination medication is recommended for use in adults who have type 2 diabetes mellitus and cannot control their blood sugar levels with diet and exercise alone. It is not recommended for those patients who are suffering from ketoacidosis diabetes he extended-release formulation means that the medications are released gradually over an extended period, allowing for once-daily dosing. Administration :
