How To Use of Escitalopram 20 Mg Tablet
Take the tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time every day. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Contraindications of Escitalopram 20 Mg Tablet
You are allergic to escitalopram, citalopram, or any of its ingredients. You are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken them within the last 14 days. You have congenital long QT syndrome or are taking medicines known to significantly prolong the QT interval unless advised by your doctor. You are taking pimozide.

Use only under medical supervision. Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how the medicine affects you. Inform your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney disease, epilepsy, bipolar disorder, diabetes, glaucoma, heart disease, bleeding disorders, or electrolyte imbalances. Monitor for worsening depression or suicidal thoughts, particularly during the first few weeks of treatment. Consult your doctor before using this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not discontinue treatment abruptly.
