When applied to the skin, clindamycin helps reduce bacterial activity and inflammation associated with acne.Clindamycin topical preparations may be prescribed for: Acne vulgaris (pimples) Inflammatory acne lesions, Papules and pustules associated with acne, Certain bacterial skin infections.

Clean the affected area before applying the cream. Apply a thin layer to the affected skin as directed by the physician. The treated area may be covered with a sterile dressing if needed. Wash hands before and after application.

Store in a cool, dry place below 25–30°C. Protect from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed and out of reach of children.
