Introduction :

Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/w: Clobetasol propionate is a potent corticosteroid used topically to reduce inflammation, itching, and redness associated with various skin conditions. Neomycin Sulphate 0.5% w/w: Neomycin is an antibiotic that belongs to the aminoglycoside class. It is used topically to treat or prevent bacterial infections of the skin. Miconazole Nitrate 2.0% w/w: Miconazole nitrate is an antifungal medication used to treat fungal infections of the skin, including ringworm, athletes foot, and jock itch.

Indication :

This combination of ointment/cream is typically used to treat various inflammatory skin conditions complicated by bacterial or fungal infections, such as: Eczema with secondary bacterial or fungal infections Contact dermatitis Fungal infections of the skin (e.g., tinea corporis, tinea cruris) Intertrigo (skin inflammation in body folds)

Administration :

Apply a generous amount of cream to the affected area, and rub in gently until the cream disappears. After this medicine is applied, the treated area may be covered with a gauze dressing if desired.

Storage :

Store at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Do not refrigerate.

Side Effects :

Common side effects may include skin irritation, burning, itching, redness, or dryness at the application site. If you experience severe or persistent side effects, discontinue use and consult your doctor

Mechanism of Action :

Clobetasol propionate exerts anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators and suppressing the immune response in the skin.
