Choline salicylate exerts anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects through inhibition of cyclooxygenase-mediated prostaglandin synthesis in inflamed oral tissues. Lignocaine hydrochloride acts by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels in neuronal membranes, preventing initiation and propagation of nerve impulses and producing local anesthesia. Benzalkonium chloride is a quaternary ammonium compound that disrupts microbial cell membrane integrity, exerting antiseptic activity.
