Mechanism of Necsole Dusting Powder
Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, resulting in the death of susceptible bacteria. Bacitracin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis, preventing bacterial growth. Sulphacetamide is a sulfonamide antibiotic that inhibits folic acid synthesis in bacteria, thereby preventing bacterial multiplication. The combination provides broad-spectrum antibacterial activity against susceptible organisms and helps reduce the risk of skin infections.
