CEFUROXIME AXETIL 500 MG
Introduction : Cefuroxime 500mg tablet is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This medication is known as a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections.
Indication : Cefuroxime 500mg tablet is used in the treatment of infections caused by bacteria. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth.
This medicine is available only with your doctors prescription.
Administration : Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor, usually twice daily (every 12 hours). Take cefuroxime with food to increase absorption and reduce stomach upset. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
Swallow the tablets whole. Do not crush or chew because the tablets have a strong bitter taste. Use the liquid suspension form of this medication if it is difficult to swallow the tablets.
Storage : Store the medicine at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light.
Keep out of the reach of children.

Contraindications : Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients
